1. Overview
At Long Haul Technologies, we are committed to providing high-quality software and digital solutions. We stand behind our services and aim to resolve any dissatisfaction promptly and fairly. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are permitted, the process to request them, and any conditions that apply.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are applicable in the following cases:
- The service was paid for but never delivered due to our fault.
- The delivered product or solution does not meet the agreed-upon specifications and no resolution is possible.
- You were charged in error or charged more than once.
- A cancellation was requested within the eligible refund window (see below).
3. Non-Refundable Items
- Custom-developed software or platforms after the project has been delivered.
- Services that have already been fully consumed (e.g., domain purchases, third-party integrations).
- Training sessions or consultations that you missed without prior notice.
- Subscription fees beyond the current billing cycle once service has been used.
4. Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, please email info@longhaultech.com within 7 days of your original purchase. Include:
- Your full name
- Invoice or order number
- Reason for the refund request
We will investigate and respond within 3 business days. If approved, your refund will be processed within 7 business days via your original payment method.
5. Currency Policy
We accept and process payments in multiple currencies, primarily South African Rand (ZAR) and Malawi Kwacha (MWK). Refunds will be issued in the original currency used during payment, subject to exchange rate differences and any transaction fees from your financial provider.
6. Cancellation Policy
- For services billed monthly (e.g., hosting or platform access), you may cancel anytime before your next billing date.
- For once-off services (e.g., web development or training), cancellation is only allowed before active work begins. After this, only partial refunds may apply.
7. Disputes
If you are unhappy with a refund decision, you may escalate the issue to our Head of Operations at ops@longhaultech.com. We are committed to handling disputes professionally and fairly.
